Tour Description

Join us for our first tour for 2026 into Cumbria and the Lake District. We thought we'd make this a hotel for the night, so a warm bar and a comfy bed awaits after a day on the Cumbrian fells. Whilst not for the fainthearted, this tour is definitely doable in any well prepared 4x4. There will be challenges along the way, plus some potentially deep water in places. But nothing a bit of time spent planning won't conquer. For this tour we start at Tebay services and stick to the eastern side of the M6 for day 1. Our hotel for the night is towards Penrith and an ideal start point for our second day based inside the Lake District national park. You will need ✅️ Off road biased tyres and a full size spare ✅️ Recovery points front and rear ✅️ Ideally a lowbox transfer case ✅️ Appropriate clothing and footwear for the time of year
