Tour Description

The tour starts on Friday with us all meeting up in our first hotel just south of Berwick upon Tweed. Where no doubt we'll sample some of the local food and beverages while chatting about random subjects.... Saturday morning sees us drive to our start point over on Holy Island, before we head off to take on some of the north east's best tracks. Saturday ends in our second hotel for the tour, another lovely pub style place with great food, great beer and a log fire. Sunday kicks off with another full breakfast and then we're straight into it again. Another full day of epic tracks, big rocks, water crossings and if the weather plays ball, amazing views. Of course, we end the day in another cracking hotel. Monday is the last day and we head west to the Cumbrian coast. With a few of the Lake Districts best thrown in for good measure... Whilst the accommodation is easy, the tracks may well prove to be less so. It could be very wet, the water levels quite high (we'll assess each crossing as we get there) and the rocks very slippery. That said, any well prepared 4x4 with good underbody protection, a decent wading depth and good ground clearance should be fine. We will be using a tried and tested route and hotels across Northern England!
