If you're looking for a proper day behind the wheel, this tour delivers everything that makes Welsh greenlaning famous. From rocky climbs and deep ruts to open moorland, dense forests, and spectacular mountain scenery, you'll experience some of the very best legal green lanes the UK has to offer. North Wales has long been regarded as the ultimate destination for 4x4 enthusiasts, and it's easy to see why. Challenging terrain, breathtaking views, and an incredible variety of tracks make every mile an adventure. In January, the winter weather only adds to the excitement, with mud, water, frost, and even the chance of snow creating a truly memorable driving experience. We'll set off at 9:00am, close to Llangollen, and spend the day covering approximately 70 miles of carefully selected green lanes before finishing around 4:30pm. Depending on conditions, expect plenty of water crossings, deep puddles, rocky technical sections, and challenging terrain that will put both you and your vehicle through their paces. Bring your wellies—you'll almost certainly need them! This tour is designed for properly prepared 4x4s and is not suitable for standard road-biased or low-clearance vehicles.
